The Raleigh Hotel in the South Beach section of Miami Beach, Florida is an art deco building designed by L. Murray Dixon.

The sensational and meticulously designed Raleigh pool, entrenched by flourishing tropical foliage, was originally constructed for the famed actress and swimmer Ester Williams. Her renowned swimming routines at the Raleigh pool ultimately brought fame to the hotel’s pool. Since 1947, the Raleigh pool has been repeatedly labeled as the most stunning pool in America, with its art deco design and lavish pool parties.

The hotel was originally lauded as an icon in terms of both architectural style and design, a distinction that remains to this day.
