In 2012, photographer and Cabana editor Miguel Flores-Vianna took a year-long sabbatical in a small village in West Sussex. Each day he photographed his surroundings with a Polaroid camera, sticking the images into his Smythson Soho diary alongside notes and memories. The result is now captured in Sabbatical 2012, a collaboration between Cabana Magazine and Smythson. The book faithfully reproduces the diary in its entirety, spelling mistakes and all, bound in custom Nile Blue leather.
